Bloomin 'orrible day here today. My first bit of time with the camera for ages, so inevitably heavy rain and sleet most of the time . But the streams are right up so I nipped up to Black Cloughs for another go at long-ish exposure shots of the stream in spate.

I'm having fun with this, just playing with exposure times, although I think I'll need better light to get the sorts of images I'm really after .

Really excellent results there, I think No4 is a particularly good compositionj, I think you've coped with the light conditions very well

Great set! I really like the second one, #4 too. The first one looks like it's tilted to the right a bit? I think you have made excellent use of the light. I'd love to see a mono version of #2.

Thanks Jon - you're right... it looks better adjusted a little to the left (a case of not always slavishly accepting a 'level').

... but I *think* I still prefer the colour version... perhaps because the brown peat staining is part of the appeal for me.

Wow, these are great. I especially like numbers 3 and 4, and think either would look very cool in black and white - given the same treatment you have (very successfully) for number 2
