Spares for Spotmatic F

I have a Spotmatic F.

I have lost the battery cover for it. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement. Is the cover compatable with any of the other cameras of the same time i.e. Spotmatic

Hi, The SPF used a different battery so the cover is different. You have a couple of choices. Try to get a junk body but the battery cap is always the first thing to get lost corroded etc. Otherwise try searching the web. I am sure I have seen somewhere that makes replacements but I can't find it at the moment. Spots and K series yes but not SPF. If I come across it, I will post a link.

Set up a permanent search on eBay, - worked for me. If I recall, it was a nice guy in Dallas who had some OEM chrome ones (not original) which did the job for me.

Don't dispare, they're out there - somewhere.

This is part of the fun, like vintage anything, hunting for parts.

I'm becoming the age where I'll be looking for spares for me. First I buy a big freezer. Now, anyone got a spare liver?......
