There's so much light pollution round here you can read a newspaper at midnight. Is it actually that lovely green colour? (I haven't seen it at all).

Did you get the comet from a few years back? That had a beautiful green core with a blue ion tail.
This one didn't give off as much colour it seems.
I think there might be a Pixinsight trial. There's so much to learn that a trial doesn't give you the time to really get into things. I used the LE version at one point I think too.

I used the Pixinsight trial, absolutely adored it! I was actually processing the comet image in it, when the bloody trial ran out!!!
Need someone to buy my fisheye so I can get it!! It's 260 quid....

I've seen a few comets over the years and a couple with my Meade 105mm telescope, the green colour is then quite visible to the eye.
Apparently the green colour is due to this: 'Comets flare green when they carry diatomic carbon—two-atom carbon molecules—which reacts with the sun's outgassing particles, the solar wind.' Quote

Here are two versions using two different Processes. This is also the first time I have imaged a comet with my telescope with all big kit, as well as processing one. Shortly I hope to get some better software called Pixinsight. I had a demp version of it, but not got the dosh to buy it at present. When I do I will re-process all images!
Shot with the same kit as the last two astro images.
