Quick update.... shutter count is 22747- just realised I'd typed 3000 apologies for that error!!
Basically this has a 720nm filter in front of the sensor, so the image when taken is various shades of pink! Bit of fiddling about in photoshop or any software with a channel mixer and hey presto nice false colour images or if you prefer black and whites.

Some good infrared shots there, David.
I had my old GX20 converted to IR last year, also with a 720nm filter and have been very pleased with the results. The conversion costs just over £300 (inc. vat and postage) so I think swapping a converted GX10 for a standard K20D body represents a very fair deal.
There's a K20D kit for sale on this forum https://www.pentaxuser.com/forum/topic/fs--my-k20-outfit--58227 . If someone who wants an IR camera were to buy that and swap it for David's GX10 then potentially we'd have not just two but three happy people

Thanks for the suggestion.
Of course if we get enough people involved I could end up with a K1....

Now the tricky bit....I would like to swap this for something akin to a K20D. I only need a body but I am willing to listen to sensible offers.
