Had a couple of hours in the city .found it very quiet even with a market going on. Went mainly to see to see the Cathedral as had been to the city many times but not got to go in there.

1. Truro Cathedral , unfortunately did not have 10-20mm lens so a bit distorted. Personally did not mind.

Agree as above lovely shots, there was plenty of light inside I trust? or did you use a tripod? I ask as I went into St. Andrews in Plymouth but the light was quite dim for a sunny day. I have been in the Truro Cathedral, it's impressive, lovely place to visit.

The way the light comes through the stained glass and illuminates the interior is quite majestic

thanks for comments. loadoftripe, no tripod, light not brilliant, exposed to keep what there was and then raised shadows in post as required. Yes ,Peter that corner with the flowers etc just jumped out at me with hints of the various colours lighting it up.

As others have said - it's the quality of the light with those church interiors that lifts then from record shots to lovely photos

thanks Chris, John. I do like Church interiors but the big ones do tend to be a bit easier than the small village Churches that i did a few years ago, they definitely needed tripod and some HDR at times. It was quite dark considering it was a real bright day , just makes it more of a challenge though.
