Some Sigma 10-20s

I took these a while ago, but due to dissertation work (handed in today, thankfully!) I haven't got around to posting them. The only one with any PP done to it is #2, which needed a bit of a saturation boost to reflect the colours I saw at the time. Can't say there's a collective purpose to them - I was basically playing around with the lens, trying for some unusual perspectives while getting as much of that (rare!) blue sky in as possible.

(The flare on this is deliberate - I took one without flare but prefer this)

I like the first one, the 'red' pitches look like running water !!!

The others appear very dark, with no actual focal point.

My eyes go from place to place and settle no where, but there may be other opinions.

EDIT
Just had a uber fast play with the second image so its not brilliant. The highlights I was unable to do anything with but the rest of the image came good, I can remove it if you want
Nah, looks better than my barely-processed one! My problem with the highlights is that parts of the scene were actually in deeper shadow than the shot suggests: it was the least blownout sky that my non-grad-filter-possessing self could manage
