We spend some time at the seaside in Croatia. It was mostly bad weather but still good to shoot some photos. All those are done with K5 and K135 2.5 manual lens. Comments are welcome.

Really like the whole set, but for me the 1st shot is the winner
One day you'll find, 10yrs have got behind you.

Thanks. No.1 is my favorite too.

#1 is great but needs straightening up. I'd also like to have seen a close up of the background boat and bird swarm.

But IMO #3 is totally sublime!! The blacked silhouette positioned agaisnt the sun reflection on the shimmering water is just magical. The only criticism is the distracting halo around the helmet of the silhouette. Get id of that and you've nailed it

#1 is a snap anyone could have taken in such surroundings. #3 isn't and wins by a mile!!

I agree with smeggy about No.3, although being picky I would have preferred to see the reflection on the other side, ie. left of the figure.....only my opinion of course, others may disagree

Crop a little of the burnt out sun on the last one then that would be my favourite

Michael

silhouette ones for me but would crop all the sun out of the last one, letterbox it and flip horizotal so it "reads" left to right.

Thanks for comments.
@Smeggypants, after reading your explanation I also start to like #3 the most . Just to give some background. In #1. I waited the ship in background to come in frame and did a few snaps. Then guy on the ship in front started to scream on me and want me to stop taking photos. (probably not pure conscience, some illegal fishing might be involved there)
@michaelblue, I agree with you about reflection side, have to say that was hart to catch my 2 year son even that way
@redbusa99, great suggestion, I will try and see how it works.

I'm thinking that panoramic ratios to varying degrees might suit all these shots except for 3.

I like these
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Nice set, number 3 really catches the eye followed by the 1st.
