Some rustic windows

I've been staying in a tiny cottage in deepest Shropshire for a while. The elderly, wooden, casement windows set directly
into the stone walls provided some nice images. I'd forgotten about the condensation you used to find on single glazing!

These were taken with a K1 and an SMC Pentax-A 50mm macro lens - just as good conventionally as it is for macro.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I like the first for interest and its diffused dark background (but wish there was no blind).

Managed to miss these the other day - I like the simplicity of these shots, the clarity coupled with the darkness of the shadows complements the highlight areas (and not blown out at all!) - the first shot stands out for me, can't pinpoint why - it's just a lovely image

I missed this too. The second one is for me. Here the condensation has created it's own soft focus effect on the outside.

Yes lovely light on all three.

#2 For me as well, based on the composition and light.

I would have liked to remove the blinds too but it wasn't mine to play with! Thank you for your comments which are appreciated.
