Top shots top-banana, like them all, but 2 and 3 stand out for me, with 2 pipping it.

I really like the first three shots...hard to choose a favourite...great contrast and sharpness.
I'm not so keen on the bench..but hey, 3 out of 4 isn't too bad.

Karlo

Superb, very striking and all the better for the monochrome treatment.
A strong start indeed!

Just keep trying out the old glass - it's great stuff - especially the Helios 44M series (which need a small, easy, surgical intervention to make their apertures work)
No 2 is really startling; you only ever see this in colour.
I think you need a screw-in metal hood for that 55mm. You can get away with the long, Takumar 135mm one using a crop frame camera

I like them all.
Makes me want to try some monochrome things..
No 2 does stand out as exceptional.

This one was trying out an SMC-K 55mm f1.8 picked up from ebay, I love trying older manual lenses
with the K3.
