It's those Ready for Review ones that I keep looking at, and wondering when I will know whether they have be accepted or Declined.
Like all three shots - but the church stands out the most for me

Tim,
I remember the portrait from voting. The reeds are fantastic, looks like drawn. The church brings back memories of Pillars of the Earth and the magnificent cathedrals of Winchester and Salisbury.
For me the third one is the weakest of the three (but still a strong entry!).
I also check too often, maybe a bit more understandable since some of the entries are sitting there for more than a month now. Currently have a dozen entries waiting. If I had submitted the max. possible (10/week) I would have 50 sitting there and waiting. Usually I put a few in and wait until decision time before I put in the next lot...

I love the portrait (but then I am sucker for a good portrait!). Nice tones, lovely framing, great expression...a really, really nice capture!

Two great shots with genuine impact. The portrait is particularly good. I admire portraits because I'm poor at taking them!
