Been out in the garden and took two more photos. I have followed the advice and used the ACD software to edit and resized my photos before uploading to photobucket
1. Clematis head

No problems with sharpness there! The first two are great, the last is a lovely informal portrait. As you already know, the one of Liverpool doesn't work so well.

Excellent stuff. You're putting us older folks to shame!

You sure do! I like the one of your nan and granddad best (have they seen it already and if so, whatdid they think of it?). 1 and 2 are pretty good as well! Where did you learn to take pictures or a you a natural?

Lidy, its my first Dslr, second hand K100d. I had a compact before but this camera is much better.

That second photo is really quite remarkable for what I presume is the kit 18-55mm lens! Well done
