Some from the camera club

These where taken at the local camera club, all taken with the DA16-45 lens fitted. The club is quite friendly lots of c***n & n***n's there was only one Pentax me.

This is only the second time trying studio/portrait shots.

C&C as normal please.

Hi Mate,

No1 looks nice and sharp but No 2 (which is my favorite pose/angle) and 3 look a little soft to me.

What settings did you use?

Thanks for posting that,

I what sort of flash did you use? Was it the studios one or a pentax one?

Looking at you shutter speed 1/10th thats seems a bit slow especially when your using a flash. Was it hand held or on a tripod?

Hand held, but about 10ish people all try to get the shots. using the studio light's but not very successfully they fired when any body took a shot, so not the ideal.

Used the hotshoe adapter to fire the lights on some and my onboard flash for others, not sure what lights worked on these shots.

The club had two sets of lights unfortunately sometimes when other people took a shot both sets fired, but I did learn some things and will continue with my learning curve (should be a slippery slope)
