...as a change from band pictures yesterday I put the R72 IR filter on the Sigma 10-20mm and attached that to the Samsung GX1L (rebadged Pentax *istDS). The camera is IR-sensitive enough to use 1/15th at f/8, ISO 400. Or so I thought - all then needed 3 stops of extra pushing in Bibble due to me completely misinterpreting the GX1L histogram

The filter is a 58mm, so much too small for the 77mm fitting that the Sigma needs. It vignettes badly at 10mm but at 12mm it is fine. It probably didn't help that it was held on with a ring of BluTac

I quite liked the effect at 10mm, it is a bit like looking through some sort of strange instrument:

At 12mm it looks more normal:

This one had almost no noticeable exposure at all due to leaving the camera on manual from the earlier ones and being in some dark shade, but rescuing it seems to have given it a certain abstract charm:

The 3 seater picnic table was made for them!

Very nice fence shots too. May have to invest in one of those filters, the results are fascinating.

1, 2 and 4 are good in the way you've used the fence to create leading lines to the vanishing point. The processing is good too.

Thanks for posting.
