Have you used the advanced search utility in E Bay? Put in the title for your item and tick completed listings. That may show up recent sales and the price achieved.

The Tamron SP 90mm is a fine macro lens. I'm out of the loop but I paid £50 for mine 2 or 3 years ago.
you don't have to be mad to post here

It all depends on the condition. The MX was one of Pentax's best-loved cameras, and people are still keen to buy them today. However, you do need to specify what condition it is in, cosmetically, mechanically and electrically.
If it is an all-black body (no chrome top-plate) it will be worth more.
Having given this information, you might find that somebody here would like to buy it.

By the way, I think you may find that the "Hoya PL lens" is actually a filter screwed to the top of a Pentax 50mm lens.

The MX varies widely in price, anywhere between £30 and £22 depending on condition but usually sells for about 80 pounds in reasonable nick. Add about £40 pounds to that if it is a all black one. It partly depends on the lens too, of course. If, under the polariser you have a 50mm f/1.4 it will sell for a bit more, 1.7 about average, f/2 a little less. The Tamron will go for between £50 and £100 pounds depending on condition.
Hope that helps.
PS I might be interested in the Tammy, and possibly the MX if it is a black one!

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I'm not sure I'm in the right place but I was hoping that someone may be able to help me.
Whilst having a bit of a clear out I have just found a Asahi Pentax MX camera in its original leather case, a Hoya 49mm PL lens, and a Tamron SP 1:2.5 90mm Tele Macro lens in original case. Its all in good condition.
I was given this as a child but it holds no sentimental value for me and so I'm hoping to sell it on, I guess the question is how much it may be worth? I've looked on various web sites but am still none the wiser.
Many thanks for any help you can give.
