I like No3. the best
No. 4 would benefit from a bit more space on the right hand side, it seems a bit cramped. The orange, blue and white colours work well, but I think it needs, width more than height, might clone out the huge tree/bush on the right, ))

Great set of well observed images Aiki. Like Galoot my favourite is No. 3, which is a wonderful exercise in patterns but No.4 runs it close for me. The organge against the snow is superb. Have you thought of toning down the saturation in the snow to reduce the blue cast that you nearly always get with snow scenes?.

Happy New year, John !
Thanks for advice.
Did you mean sth like that ? nothing more to take from right side

Thanks, David.
I even a bit enhanced the blue with levels.
With these pics I was afraid of desat. Thought these will turn dull
I may try, but here I seem to feel myself bit ...hmmm...
Feel free to play with my pics and show, if you want.

Just a suggestion to tone down the blue. But you might find the blue tint more attractive, its just a matter of personal taste. I also upped the contrast slightly,

It is #4 for me because of the colour contrast. Do you have an original horizontal format. I would like to see that.

No, Barrie, there is no horizontal original. There were some bushes (look at the shades), these did not fit the scene. On my 2. version there is no crop from right.
Thanks David, It made me to think. I may try this. Your version is more peaceful.
No words about the two first ?

Sorry Aiki, about Nos. 1 + 2: of these I prefer No.1 because of the unusual shapes of the little mounds of snow. This demonstrates the 'seeing eye' of a photographer whose not just looking at the broad view but who also has an eye for detail. No.2 is very pleasant and well photographed but it's the sort of picture you see quite a lot of, and, well, its not as original as the other three.

Aiki, I tried to get into Flickr with the help of MikeW but as usual when I try something new with computer technology it all went wrong and wouldn't work. I got into Flickr and I've looked at some of our members portfolios there, including yours. But there seems to be no way for me to upload photos. I'll come back to it eventually and try again.

I like numbers 3 and 4 exactly as they were originally posted - the blue casts make them for me even if they aren't strictly "true to life". The orange is fantastic too
Not so keen on number 2, nothing to really grab my attention with too many different types of pattern clashing.
Number 1's my favourite though because it looks like a troop of snowmen walking into the distance and it makes me smile.
