SMC A 50mm 1.7
Cheers, Kris.
It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I don't know about the K10d, but if you have 'use aperture ring' enabled and hold down the shutter button, then slowly turn the focus ring on a 'm' lens, when the centre comes into focus the camera takes. Works on my K110D and K200D.

Just tried my old pentax manual focus 50mm f1.7 on my new K10d - fired a couple of frames off without problems and then the shutter refused to fire - tried the 18-55mm kit lens and the camera works fine.
Also tried the lens on my Samsung GX1S -same thing -shutter won't fire.
Any ideas anybody ?
