Small Compact Camera

I have a small Samsung Digimax camera which is very useful for taking snaps, the quality obviously not as good as the DSLR but good enough.
I'd chose a Samsung or a Kodak from Currys.
Go there and have a hands on and see which is most comfortable in your hands.
Hope it helps
(Wooops! never mentioned Pentax compacts ... oh well)

I agree with Keen2Learn, Kodak compacts are easy to use, I have an old 3mp one which just goes on and on. I did have a Samsung but it died in warrenty and they couldn't(wouldn't?) fix it, although a work mate has one and has had no trouble. As for Pentax, try the smaller photo developer shops, they seem to get good deals on them!
Cheers, HG
