Slight issue with flash on K10D

Just got back from my trip where I discovered a flaw with the Flash on the K10D

If you put the camera in AF-C mode the pre-flash for focusing will not work with either the in-built flash or the AF-360

Anoying as it took me an age to work out why I was getting in-correct exposure and out of focus shots.

In manual focus and AF-S modes its fine - very anoying when they don't tell you these things

Is it really a flaw? In AF-C mode won't the flash have to keep firing pre-flashes every time the autofocus mechanism re-focuses?

Hi Ammonyte
You're quite right but if you forget you're in AF-C (what I use as default for wildlife) then put the flash on (using AF360 always) it can be really annoying.

I just wish they gave us that tip in the manual.

Funny you mentioned that... but I'm sure I read it in the manual
Maybe it was a bit Japlish

Page 131 mentions how the flash works in AF-S mode, but makes no mention of AF-C.
