I have never been the subject of a poll before, except maybe to get the next shout
I'm not sure if you really need a slide show Martin. I would say most judges would take several minutes going over each entry. Unless you have another purpose for it in mind.
But i suppose you would have the option of stopping each frame so i guess it has its merits.

I answered "yes" but I'm not sure it was the right "yes". At the moment it's beating the other "yes" by a margin of four votes to three - I hope I've backed the right horse...

It's not only with judging in mind, that I suggested it. I think it can be a pleasant way of viewing in general. No must, but just an option. I know that a couple of judges in the past created their own slide show to help them, forming an opinion. I'm not sure if you really need a slide show Martin. Sounds good however we have a sort of slide show now if needed, when looking at the whole of the competion entries, the mouse pointer displays a mini image on next scroll or just click next, not totally automated however but gets the job done as I am sure all the members know.

Yesterday I reported this suggestion to the Team:
Hi all,
I was just wondering. Would it be possible to implement some kind of slide show function in the competition section. Viewing all the entries like that would be very pleasing to the eye, don't you think? Of course I don't know if it is technically possible ( using flash or something else), but what do you think of the idea?
