Slave flash?

Place them strategically to add light to a scene. When the main flash fires, they will too. It can add a bit of sophistication to the flat frontal lighting of one flashgun.

I have one, but never use it. It fired with the pre-flash on the Ds, which of course was useless. I haven't tried it with the K20D but imagine it does the same. I tried every setting but could never get it to work so it is gathering dust somewhere now.

... use manual or a trigger and you won't have pre-flash...
I think I will order a bunch of these for a laugh. Cheap enough.
Plus you can gel them for some colour. Then snoot / grid.

Does anyone use these or have any ideas what I might do with them apart from sell them for profit on eBay?
