Sigma mini wide II 24mm f2.8

I just popped back into Wildings and bought this lens for £40. Does anyone know any details on it? It says it's macro, but only 1-4. It's in exceptional condition. They also have a Pentax SMC 75-150 f4 constant aperture zoom lens with contacts on the mount for £40 and I was wondering if this lens is worth buying or not? The other lens they have is an Auto-Chinon 50mm f1.8 but as I just got the Pentax f1.4 version am not really interested in this.
I have been trying not to buy lenses recently as I am broke but the two I got seemed too good an oppurtunity to miss. That makes 3 lenses in a week!

Don't think i can justify buying the zoom even if it's good but would appreciate any info on it and could possibly get it for someone on the forum if they are interested in it.

Someone wentt in in this morning and bought the Pentax-A 50mm f1.8, it would be nice if it was as a result of my post last night!

The sigma's a great little lens, and goes for about twice that on ebay. I posted some pics taken with the lens in my 'soft and sharp' topic last week. This is a close up shot wide open at f2.8.

I sold my copy on Ebay for twice that amount when I had the opportunity to buy the AF version here on the forum. Lovely little lens, you did very well at £40.

That 75-150mm sounds very odd. I know of the Pentax-M 75-150mm f4 but that doesn't have any contacts on the lens mount.

Is this it? If so it's a decent lens although I'd consider £40 a little steep - mine is near mint and cost £25 on ebay.

You did very well to get the Sigma for that money! If it's in really good condition I would expect it to go for a lot more than that on EBay. It has a great reputation.

Yes that is the same lens buut it was a k mount pentax-A and it had autofocus on it but otherwise looks identical.

Yes Jon very happy did not expect to get 3 lenses in 3 days though my wife has nabbed the sigma. Sure she will let me borrow it tho! After deciding I could not afford a new lens a week ago its been a bit of a week!
