Sigma EM-140DG Ringflash...

Hi Chris, that sounds very tempting, although being a bit of a luddite... how does the flash attach to the front of the lens? Does it use the filter thread? and if so, does sigma produce an adapter for 49mm threads? I use the DFA 100 macro a lot but that has a 49mm thread; and I am not sure whether that lens is (dare I say it) robust enough to have a flash hanging off the moving front element? Or does it connect some other way?
Any advice appreciated!

Hi Mat,
It uses the filter thread and the flash comes supplied with 55mm and 58mm rings. You can either use step-rings to use with the supplied rings or purchase other ones which match the filter thread of your lens. We sell all sizes which range from 52mm to 77mm.
Hope this helps!

Chris - so are you saying that it wouldn't fit a DFA 100 macro 49mm thread?

It certainly should fit. you only need a 49mm step up ring. I believe Mike-P has this flash and a DFA 100mm macro if I am not mistaken.
