Hi Chris

How well does it function with the Sigma 100-300? I know the compatability chart says it doesn't but I am sure other have said that autofocus still works in bright conditions. If you have tried it, is the image quality drop off significant?

Hi Wobbley Goblin, it's been some time since I've used the 2x, will check later, but I believe it does work with AF and in reasonable light conditions, as I've used it at Slimbridge after Kingfishers, allow me to come back to you and confirm.

Hi WG, just shot 2 images 17:15pm, conditions overcast, both on 100iso,
no problems on autofocus,both handheld on window sill.

1 shot at 100mm ( 200mm with Conv ) camera data shows F4 1/40sec

1 shot at 300mm ( 600mm with Conv ) again at F4 and 1/25 sec
