Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 Mk1 FF

Full frame resized to 800 pix. K5 with Sigma @ 200mm with Pentax auto tubes. My local Golden Orb weaver colony. I had the 50mm and 100mm macro's with me but struggled to get the right subject in frame size due to the size of the webs (could not get close enough).

Even used the 1.7x AF TC with a tube!

So does one need a 200mm macro lens when a good 200mm tele with a tube or two can produce some reasonable results. Only the user can decide on that one. These are basically hand held shots and have room for improvement. With good technique and frequent use there is a means to an end at low cost.

Seven reasons why Mrs Snap will never visit Australia I think they are a great advert for macro photographers to visit
