Very good shot, a bit dull like you said but nothing bad besides that.

Blossom is never dull. And it looks like the results from that lens aren't either.

Thanks for that, I bought the lens from Mifsuds after someone here alerted me to it and I think the quality is way above my standard lens. I am also looking at the 24 - 70mm version.
I am also in the very forunate position of having 3 acres with a wife who looks after it so I have huge range of subjects just outside my back door.

24-70mm f2.8 is just as good in it's own way, as is the 24-60mm f2.8 which came before it.
