Sigma 50mm macro lens cap

Kris - I have one but it's just a boring old lens cap 55mm with the squeeze action at the side and high gloss silver Sigma on the front. Still want a photo in which case I will oblige?

I don't normally have that lens attached when I am walking about with the camera around my neck but I was being lazy... Oh well. The worst one I have is the old push-on metal cap for the K series 15mm. I think the foam on the inside is compressed so it just slips straight off all the time.

I find some Sigma caps to be very poor. The 72mm one fitted to my 150mm is easily knocked off, the centre pinch cap on my Sigma 50mm f1.4 however is extremely secure & very easy to fit/remove.
Anyone know of a good source of aftermarket centre pinch style caps ? Or should I just give ebay a trawl ?

I used to be terrible for losing lens caps. Now the first thing I do when I get a new lens is get on ebay to get a replacement cap with a tether, tie that to the lens, and put the original cap somewhere safe.

Hong Kong eBay sellers tend to have good ones. Some I got from a UK seller previously were too loose and hardly gripped the lens.

Sorry I haven't got a specific seller to recommend as I've forgotton who I used exactly. It would help if eBay gave me more than 2 pages of transaction history

I checked my old sellers (foto.ac and camera-acc-us) but neither sell caps anymore. I think the low dollar items are just a route to building up the feedbacks then they move onto more profitable stuff.
