I took my Sigma 400mm f5.6 APO Tele Macro for an outing to the paddock behind my house and here are a few pics. I was thinking about selling it but I have now changed my mind.

LOL oh man.

Great set of photos sir! I have a very old Sigma 400mm that "might" have fungus, need to have it cleaned just haven't gone round to doing it.

Thanks Alan,fungus is something that I worry about. I store my gear in Peli cases with silica gel bags and regularly put the ones I have not used for a while out in the sun. I think just getting out and using them minimises the risk also.
I had a manual focus Tokina 400mm lens that I bought new in the 80's with fungus in it [sold it on ebay] and it didn't seem to effect the images much.

Probably the cement falling to bits... quite common with
that lens
