Sigma 120-400 TC

Hi

I have never particularly got along with TCs and always end up selling them - the last one I has was the Pentax x 1.7. 6 months later - I again start thinking of another one.

I am currently considering trying another but would want one that would work in AF on my Sigma 50-150 HSM and Sigma 120-400HSM. Despite reading some reports that the Pentax x 1.7 would work - in my experience - it didn't.

I know there are only a few that will do this - and not even the Sigma APOs (other than in MF) will work.

Does anybody have a reasonably comprehensive list of the makes and models to look out for?

Tamron-F AF1.4x Pz-AF MC4 and Teleplus 1.5x Pz-AF SHQ, Teleplus Pz-AF 1.7x SHQ. The Teleplus may also come re-badged as Kenko, Promaster etc. The SHQ (Super High Quality) TC's are only available s/h AFAIK.

John

Thanks John - much appreciated
