Hi Everyone,

Just a quick heads-up!

I have just received first stocks of the Sigma 120-400 & EM 140 DG Ring Flash.

Both post free to forum members...

Also - K20D GPS - Should be having some in about 10 days... More info to follow!

As usual, any questions then ask away. It is very busy at the moment so I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Going over there on the 19/20th to collect two lens (always try before I buy) and might be tempted to buy a 120-400 in place of one of the others. at this price.

Will the GPS write to RAW exif files too? Separate trackers can't do that.

Will the £100 cashback also be available on the GPS version?

Thanks.

I hope not. Imagine taking a fantastic photo & posting it on Flickr for example. You may return to re-shoot on a rare occasion (like a total eclipse, passing comet, sunny day in Wales) only to find 5 other photographers jostling for position.

Nothing to stop you editing the exif to remove such details. I always add the GPS data to my photos, when I remember to take the logger that is .
But I don't post on Flickr or anything like that, only on my own site so I guess it doesn't worry me. There are very few places on this earth which are known only to one photographer in any case.

I once found someone's tripod marks in a well known beauty spot, couldn't resist using then just for fun!

It will be interesting to see how the 100-300+1.4xTC at 300m/f4 (=420/f5.6) compares to the 120-400 at 400/f5.6

Not sure how it will compare but I teamed up my Sigma 2X DG EX teleconverter with the Pentax F* 300mm f4.5 that I got from a member here last week for the first time today and I was quite pleased with the results considering it was 600mm hand held and manual focus.
