sigma 10 - 20mm

Hi i'm just about to purchase a sigma 10-20mm to go on my pentax k10 please can anyone offer any last minute advice! on any other lenses many thanks

Only that the SMC Pentax-DA 12-24mm is probably a better lens, albeit it more expensive and not as wide.

Buy from a reputable retailer and test it thoroughly as soon as you get it. If there is anything wrong with it, take it back for another, and repeat the process until you get a good one.

Better still, buy the Pentax 12-24mm.

the 10-20 is a great lens at a great price. If you could stretch to the 12-24mm then do! its slightly better optically all be it not as wide. But you would struggle to see much of a difference.

We have the 12-24 at £499 and the sigma at £329

either way you are going to be very happy with the results
