When I first look at it, I see the windows. Then the two diagonals draw my eye down. I don't think it does justice to the architectural interest at the top of the building.
But it looks like a very lovely town.

The line of the building and shade on from the top right corner draw the eye to the wrong part of the photograph.
The point of interest is the building, mainly the windows. If the eye is drawn to a completely different point, then the composition doesn't work.
The contrast and level of the tones doesn't make much difference, but a strong crop of the bottom part of the picture might help.
