Might be better to cut that lock off with boltcutters, and stick an old rusty nail through the hole. The lock's obviously no good anyway. It's been affected by that Victorian heat, and has stretched to buggery.

Thanks Sam-Joseph. As to the 'stretched' padlock, the title was intended to reflect the vertical nature of the shot and its subject (not of course as an insult to the forum!)

I like this and think the composition works well with the stretchewd padlock.
