After all the restrictions we have endured over the last 12 months, I wasn't looking forward with much enthusiasm to to the getting out with the camera to do a reprise of last year's photos. But being out in the sun today was really uplifting, not least because of all the new growth that's to be seen all around. It never fails to lift my spirits; much more interesting, I feel, than when everything in in full leaf. I hope you will find today's collection as satisfying as I do! All taken with K3 + DA 16-85.

You got some lovely golden glows on those leaves. You are quite right about getting out and among all the new life. It really is uplifting.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Lovely. I especially like 4 with the gorgeous backlit glow.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Have to agree - that backlit glow is lovely! You could potentially underexpose a little more to enhance the leaves and darken the background
