Lovely early morning sunshine in our garden this morning so I have had a go with the D-FA* 70-200 to try and capture the leaves emerging from buds on a Horse Chestnut tree over the fence. Not completely happy with the results but I think it was a useful exercise:




And from the top of the tree some sticky buds (Heavily cropped):




While I was in the garden I did a quick lens swap and took a shot of the inside of the greenhouse using a D-FA 15-30. The greenhouse is in a sort of transitional state between risk of frost and preparing for summer:

Love the punchy colours in the third image, very pleasing.

Agreed - experienced the same sort of lighting here today!

The horse chestnut at this time of year makes a great subject, and that D-FA* is the perfect tool for the job

Damned heavy though. Fortunately I did not have to carry it very far
