I have 6 lens that cover most of my needs
Pentax DA* 16-50
Pentax DA 50-200
Sigma 150-500
Pentax F 28 2.8
Pentax F 50 1.7
Pentax DFA 100
Actually been thinking about getting rid of the 28 since the DA* covers that focal length at 2.8 which would get me down to a 5 lens kit.

It's tiny ! Well it is to me as I've got no other lens than comes anywhere near as small (maybe the 43/1.9 but then that's still larger), anything smaller and you'd have a hell of a job using it with MF / quick shift.

Not quite a pancake though, is it? Hell, it's bigger than the 21 mdc wrote:
If they made a proper wide angle pancake (the DA21 just isn't small enough for me tbh) that'd end up being my walkabout lens.

Still smaller than the 14mm though ... but then what isn't.
