There is no single answer to this question that will suit everybody except perhaps, clean the sensor when it needs it. Even then, one person's needs will be different to others. There are so many variables affecting how dirty a sensor might become that a standard cleaning time frame would be impossible to calculate. The odd bit of dirt/dust/pollen is probably best left alone, it may eventually come off by itself.so is the moral of this thread,clean lightly and clean regularly ?

After seeing ChrisA's post I'm looking at the Eclipse E2 stuff. What swab/wipe should I be using? Some of them seem to be around £25 for a pack of 10...
(and it was only £100+ cos I bought an Arctic Butterfly first )
