Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good sensor cleaner for the Pentax K10.

Mine has now become quite dirty, and its starting to get really annoying, especially when taking landscape pictures that include a lot of sky. I spend ages removing the black dots, and sometimes its difficult.

I have seen Pentax sell a cleaner.

What one would you recommend?

Regards
Graham

If the Rocket Blower cannot fix it, go for the Sensor Swab and E2 cleaning fluid found here:

Just a word on sensor cleaning: I am regularly (which means once in a few months) using compressed air in can. Laboratory one, though, not containing oil. There can be some liquid coming in the spray jet but if you follow the instructions (do not tilt more than 20 degrees, in other words keep it vertically), end of spray tube about 7-10cm from the sensor and of course you try spray once or twice outside the camera before, I usually remove everything I need. However this method is not recommended by Pentax.

I too use an Arctic Butterfly http://www.visibledust.com/.
I am very happy with it.
I'd be very reluctant to use any form of canned compressed air on it.
If you still have crud on it then try either Pentax's own sensor swabs or Visible Dust's swabs or E2 fluid and swabs from Eclipse.
