Selling your work online

Enter competitions, that might help.
If you come high they will probably showcase your photo meaning more people will look at it.
Reminds me of a story I read a month a go.
It was about a boy who won a competition and a company phoned him the next day saying they want to use his image and offered him a 4 digit number I believe. The boy was unsure and said he needs to think about.
Two days later the boy calls the company and says he wants to sell it but the company had no interest because the boy had put the photo also on other sites where it could be used for 1$ fee

Stefans suggestion is a good one..I recently won a competition and was contacted by a publisher as a result - I hope to have some good news shortly
The problem with online sales is that there are so many websites doing the same thing - high page ranking is essential to generate any traffic to your site and even when you manage that converting visitors into customers isn't easy either
If you want to promote your photography then local galleries/craft centres are well worth a try
