Very nice, Tim.
The fact that the K10D is better in many practical ways, doesn't mean that the *ist series of DSLRs were bad. They are still very capable machines (in the right hands).

The DS is a lovely piece of kit, I used one for years. Only bought the K10D because of the extra seals (I go into very dusty environments), speed of use (dials and 3fps) and anti shake.
Love the flowers BTW - do you shoot against black background or cut & paste into one?

Great photos Tim.
I am very happy with my Ds too, and that is one reason (lack of cash being another ) why I haven't rushed out for a K10D yet. I will hang on to the Ds a while longer and probably will only consider getting the K10D if I go on a mega holiday, like to Tanzania again, when many of it's features will be very useful. Even then the Ds has turned out some good pictures for me (and has the AA battery advantage).

Great pics! It proves that it is good photographers who take good photographs, cameras dont relly come into it.
