Second set of shots with the monopod :o)

Hello again

Second set of shots using the newly purchased monopod and had it for a while fairly ancient mf 400mm lens

First up - a bad shot but I think that this may be a redwing - it seems to check out with the red flash under the wing whilst in flight, slight bit of red below the wing and light coloured flash by the eyes - but feel free to correct me if need be - if I am right then at least I have a shot of one even if it is cr@p but I spent a while chasing these around - they seem camera shy




I will try to get some better shots another day if they are still here.

Now some Robins - taken from a set of shots taken one after the other in drive mode (or whatever the correct term is) - different crops as well










I'm really beginning to like the monopod - whilst of course it is nowhere near as stable as a tripod it does help me cover a lot more ground as my old uniloc tripod is just a tad too heavy to carry around for any type of distance
