Shot my second ever wedding for friends a week ago. My first with the K-1. I rented the D-FA 70-200mm from SRS to compliment the 24-70. Must say it's a lovely piece of glass, may sell my Tamron soon.

Looking good indeed ... nice results from a range of wedding situations. I'm sure that must be one of the key challenges of weddings, the sheer variety of environments and technical approaches demanded in very quick succession.

I used off camera flash in a softbox for some of the garden shots. Otherwise, it was the infamous Niel Van Niekirk "black foamie thing" for gelled bounce flash and a Yongnuo 600 Air LED panel for lighting. I must say the Yongnuo was a fantastic recent acquisition.

It all worked well clearly ... The 'flag' type bounced approach is definitely the way to go indoors, when manipulating umbrellas or softboxes might be hazardous to health and safety!

I cut-down a foam drink can holder for flagging my flash. Grips any popular speedlight, looks inconspicuous - yet professional. Best pound i've ever spent on photography gear and far better results than a Fong Dong.

Great photos, I've been looking into something to do with my flash, I was thinking the Magmod stuff or Lastolite stuff but maybe something different now!

Lovely shots, particularly liked the first dance shot. Tough lighting, well captured without over blowing. Well done.

Beautiful, natural, excellent quality shots. Everything that is so often missing from 9/10 wedding photos you see nowadays.

That dance floor one is absolutely gorgeous.

Great set of images and well executed. You seem to have a talent for weddings which I can imagine are stressful. Keep up the great work Phil
