Really like this set Graham, especially the last one and no.2 - although I would have trimmed the very top of the image to remove the foot of another bird. What equipment did you use for these ?

Thanks for this. Yes I spotted the extra feet AFTER I had posted it online. The modified version is below and it is better.
I used a Pentax KP with the Pentax 150-450 zoom and a 1.4x Pentax teleconverter all on a monopod with a walking pole to stop me sliding down the bank and into the sea!!

Adding the teleconverter does not seem to affect the sharpness of the lens... I think these were taken with the lens wide open.

Lovely set overall, but 2 is the showstopper for me - lovely flow from your choice of crop.
