Sea Foam

These pics are SOOC except for the last one I changed to Black and White and boosted contrast and light a bit.
It's been very windy and the sea was stirred up, I was fascinated with how the foam swirled in and out of a gully so fired off multiple shots (never taken as many).
K1 mkii, DFA 28-105 mainly f11 as sunny day, various speeds probably 250th sec at least?

Fascinating. Presumably due to dissolved organic compounds from decayed seaweed, fish and such like. I much prefer the honest look of this foam to the artificially milky look of normal water that has suffered from a long exposure.

You did right to try the B&W conversion, it's worked.

I quite agree with Steve, fascinating indeed. #3 most of all, with its bodily form (a mermaid?) seemingly carved in the foam. And b+w would definitely suit them all.
