Oh dear. Please do as you're told or it might get worse. And make the most of your GR, that iris picture looks pretty good to me!
Did you discuss with the doc how you carry your 2lb monster? I sometimes find that carrying a weight to one side or the other is a cause of aches and pains but carrying it symmetrically (front or back) is OK. And sometimes a K3 plus moderately sized lens slung round the neck can be a problem, but holding it in both hands to take most of the weight off the neck is OK.

Thanks Steve. I did neglect to tell her sometimes I carry two bodies with lens in an old Billingham bag. Not clever, stubborn and paying the price.
Just passing thru

Made me smile, thanks. Nothing wrong with being stubborn. But Lubbyman's advice is also sound.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

It's the voice of experience - including much experience of other members of my family. Within the family, there are back problems due to wear and tear from ageing, auto-immune illness, spinal abnormality since birth and injury. But the one that made me comment above is the experience of a certain member of the family who chose to ignore advice relating to other problems (particularly sports injuries), with the result that they developed back problems which means that they can no longer do the sports which they used to enjoy - avoidable if only they had acted on advice at the beginning.

Me. "My back is giving me a lot of pain". "well ,lets see"....Hm, are you still lugging that camera around",.
Don't like the sound of this, she knows me too well. Just along the river, good exercise I say.........How much does your camera weigh?.....about 2lb I say in a small voice....."STOP IT" says she. I will book you into our Chiropractor, don't walk with that camera! Do you have a smaller camera, "yes says I", How long, "Oh a couple of months if you do as you are told" So my GR and I are joined at the hip for two months, not to bad really, could have been worse. So a cautionary tale, age is, or can be a bugger. Attached hopefully a quick snap via GR of first Iris in the garden this year,
