I have downloaded this calibration page and have adjusted my printer (Epson R800) settings to use Adobe RGB colour profiles (same as my camera and PS CS2).
I wasn't particularly happy with my own printing results, but having printed this calibration page and changed a couple of printer settings I can honestly say that my printer mimics almost exactly what I am seeing on screen.
I have to add that my monitor is calibrated with a Spider2 device. I found WYZIWIG a bit hit 'n miss. Certainly for colour editing, you need a properly calibrated monitor and a dim (low light) working environment.
Regards,

A good light to use is a daylight (craft) bulb at about 60W - Great Mills do them.
It give a nice subdued light which is quite natural. Takes a little getting used to but helps me no end
