If the photography thing doesn't work out, we could all meet up, get pissed and look for Tom Hanks ?

Sorry guys, I've been negligent... The thesis is killing me... And now I'm distracted with the gear ...

There is a walk around Roslin Glen suggested by Walk Scotland. Its 3 hours, but I suppose we'll stretch that.
We could meet at the chapel at 10h.
See here, theres a car park near by.
We can go for a walk, return, have lunch and then go to the 14:45 guided visit, or if were lazy and the pints are too tasty we can stay a bit longer, theres another at 15:45 (the Chapel opens at 12h and closes at 16:45).

For lunch theres a place a bit up the road from the Chapel.

How many are in?

Why not have it in early October around the Trossacks, then I can join in too
PS Not only do I qualify for having a Pentax but my great grandmother was Scottish
Good idea too, Alan, and there wont be any midgies then.

I've just had to take a booking at the studio on Sunday, so I'm out I'm afraid.

I've been busy so didn't get around to sifting through the photos.
Yes I did go to Roslin, and managed to have a reasonably good time . Alone
Unfortunately the chapel was under repairs so I didn't bother going in, I'll visit it later.
You can check the photos here.

Never mind Hanks, ever try catching those plastic pink lawn flamingos while drunk? 'Mingo hunting is danerous, and some of us will wind up at the ER, but damn it, you are my favorite Scotsman in the whole world...
You come to my part of Canada, I'm buying the first round!
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
