Autumn colours were at their best in Scotland last week - at least when the sun shone.

Agreed - absolutely superb shot.

Just joined my local club a week or two ago and they played all the winners from the North Counties photography thing on Wednesday night. As the winners went through I recognised your name. Cracking image and well done.

Lovely colours David!
But, and far be it from me to offer you advice, I'd crop out that bright sky in the first one. It doesn't seem to add anything and detracts from all those lovely colours. (IMHO)
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Pentax K3ii, Pentax K10d, Kit lens ( 18-55mm ), 50mm f1.7 lens, Tamron 70-300mm lens, Prinzflex 70-162 manual lens, Various old flashes.

Ted: I did crop quite a lot from the sky in the first one, but couldn't crop it all out without chopping off the top of the hill and I felt this would have unbalanced the picture.

Great colours David, I have to say the top shot looks slightly blurred, was it windy or do I need to go get my glasses on?

I also think it looks better with the sky cropped off.
