Did you sharpen after resizing, Andrew?

I doubt the lens has any issues with sharpness that could be detected at this size.
Will, I think you may have hit on the problem.

I always sharpen before resizing, never after. I can't do it twice, so do you reckon it's better to wait until I've resized?

Regards,

Andrew
Best wishes,

Andrew

When you resize an image, it is resampled and ends up slightly blurry. You need to re-sharpen to correct this. Unsharp mask at 0.2 pixels and whatever level looks right will renew the sharpness.
