The first two words and thoughts that come to my mind whenever I see this old house, buried deep within the garden at Cannizaro, Wimbledon, London. The kids love my stories of the witches and goblins that live there, although they seemed less convinced about their headteacher ...

What we need now is a shot through those windows. What lies beyond?

I'm not sure, I don't really think I could do it .... Perhaps with the 70-300, zoomed right in ?

Straight up to the window, push the camera through, covering the viewfinder to prevent stray light affecting meter readings, use an ultra wide or fisheye and leave the camera to sort it out. Piece of cake!

Don't forget to jam the camera up against the frame though to hold it steady as it might be a very long exposure.

Nice one Nigel. If it's empty and no barbed wire then why don't you try some of that "Derelict building" photography that seems to be the "IN" thing. OR are you a cowardy cowardy custard? as the saying goes.
CHEERS Vic. PS. Thanks for the PM reply the other day. Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

I'm not really into the 'Derelict building' stuff .... well, perhaps that is just an excuse for being cowardly custardy ... Thanks LennyBloke, Stephen, Don and Vic also ... glad you were scared too !

Indeed - it's been an "IN" thing with me for the last 7 years... still I'm sure it's just a passing phase

If there was access I could get my old, knackered and exceedingly overweight bulk through I'd be in there like a rat up a drain pipe

It looks rather lovely Nigel

With a bit of notice, perhaps that week we can have "humour" for the weekly competition?

I'm very uneasy about going back there John ... I just found this next image on the SD card, one I took quickly, and I hadn't seen this at all when I took it, but look at what the camera has recorded .....
