I have bought my first dslr camera comming from a compact point and shoot.
I had tried to get a refurb k200d, but missed the stock that nwas available.
I have now purchased a samsung gx 10 with the twin lens kit. i have a lot to lern with a dslr. As samsung have no offocial user forum, i was hopping to tag onto the pentax one as the gx 10 is a clone of the k10 d.

so hello and help to all k10 d owners

Welcome to the forum, msuds. I'm sure you'll be as happy with your GX10 as I am with mine. If you haven't done so already, it's worth downloading the K10D instruction manual from the Pentax site. It's much clearer and easier to navigate than the Samsung effort. The main functions are the same. You'll find it at

Hi and welcome msuds, the GX10 is a great camera and I am sure you will enjoy using it and The two kit lenses I think are are excellent. I would have to agree with Aero about the manual, its not the easiest thing to follow especially if you are new to dslr photography. Still got a lot to learn myself, but there is always plenty of helpful advice available here on the forum

Enjoy
Cliff.

Welcome Msuds, the GX10 is a fine camera and there are some GX10 onwers here as you can see
And most here have had the K10D and switch to the K20D so I'm sure you can find a lot of help here if you ever need it.
